In Australia, the state of Victoria has recorded no new locally-acquired cases again on Saturday with one new case in an international traveller in hotel quarantine.
It’s the third day in a row of no locally-acquired cases in Victoria.
There was 1 case notified to the department in the past 24 hours. This includes 0 locally acquired and 1 in hotel quarantine. Mexico’s health regulator Cofepris has approved Curevac, a vaccine against Covid-19 made in Germany, for stage 3 clinical trials, the country’s foreign minister, Marcelo Ebrard, said on Friday on Twitter.
He added it was “very good news”.
